Declaration on accessibility
The Südeifel municipal administration endeavors to make the website www.vg-suedeifel.de accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-free Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act - WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended, to make it accessible without barriers.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.vg-suedeifel.de.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The following content is only accessible to a limited extent. An improvement in accessibility is planned in the near future.
- The texts for navigation and the accessibility statement are not yet available in plain language. This means that these pages are not compatible with the success criteria of WCAG 3.1.3 (Unusual words), 3.1.4 (Abbreviations) and 3.1.5 (Reading level).
- The navigation texts and the accessibility statement are not yet available in German sign language. This means that these pages are not compatible with success criterion 1.2.6 (sign language).
The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:
a) Incompatibility with the BITV-RP
- There may be color combinations in which contrasts do not fully meet the requirements of the BITV-RP. (WCAG 1.4.3. success criterion - minimum contrast).
- There are some control panels without associated control elements
- In some cases, PDF documents may not be accessible.
- Alternative texts are still being added in places.
b) Disproportionate burden
Our embedded videos are published on the YouTube video platform. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. As a result, WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that remedying this would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations.
